Does this actually mean they'll be able to do something for you?
ReplyDeleteThis is just one of the stones. And obviously the biggest and the one with the most needs right now. But yes, now we can finally do something about it. On Monday I'll have another CT scan, this time with the contrast I am so allergic to, so they can look and see exactly where this one is located and what really is (it may be a calcification that is blocking the little stones). Normally it would have been done today or tomorrow. But because I'm allergic to the contrast, I have to take Prednisone for 3 days first, plus get a Benadryl IV during the scan.
ReplyDeleteAnd THEN, after that happens on Monday, assuming things go as we expect, I will have lithotripsy and cystoscopy on either Monday or Tuesday.
FINALLY!!!!
(BTW, norroway=stacer. w/ the new google system, the way to link back to my LJ requires my LJ username, not my nickname.)
