Last week sometime I had a whim of an idea to invite a band I know to play at a concert/rally for another client of mine. But then the band had another idea for me to do some other booking work for them.
Wait, was that last week or the week before? Now I can't remember.
Anyway, things multiplied, changed, flip flopped, turned around and completely changed directions so many times that I can't even begin to explain all of the variables.
But today, at 10 am, finally FINALLY, the band gave me a verbal commitment to do online publicity for them and to book them one show in Utah.
In 3 weeks. Actually, less than 3 weeks, seeing as the show is on a Tuesday.
But this is great news. I've worked there exactly 1 month and just landed a nice new client on my own!
