Call the Midwife!

The last 2 weeks have been crazy busy. We're talking no more than 1-2 hours of sleep, no time to reply to emails, no time to clean the kitchen busy. There is a new sister missionary that moved in here a week ago and I realized last night that since she's been here, the same pile of dishes have been next to the sink. I've let everything fall apart during this week(s) of insanity. Top all of that off with a heavy dose of insomnia! There have been more than a few nights where I just gave up trying to sleep and got up and started working again.
Not surprisingly, no sleep, high stress, and crazy high pollen counts have come back to bite me in the butt. I'm down for the count with another massive head cold/cough/sinus infection/whatever you want to call it.  I've spent the last 2 days in bed spending some quality time with cough medicine and Netflix. I used up my one hour of energy today (a strategic combination of Dr Pepper, cough medicine, and waking up from a nap) to go buy more Kleenex. Nothing like a high pollen count to remind you just what a luxury Puffs Plus with Aloe really can be.
Speaking of quality time with my boyfriend Netflix. A few weeks ago I had more than one friend recommend "Call the Midwife" to me on Netflix. I put it in my queue to save for a rainy day, or next kidney stone. I'm glad I did! I haven't been able to sleep much with this stupid head cold (I really have never mastered breathing through my mouth. I just can't do it! Which makes it really hard to sleep!). So I watched the entire available season on Netflix in 2 days. And today, when I sadly finished the season, I googled it to see if there would ever be more eps, just to find out that there are, and you can buy them on Amazon.  Yay!
You should watch the show if for no other reason than the fact that this adorable guy, George Rainsford, is on it.

So I bought all of the available second season, and I'm knee-deep into it already.
If you don't have Netflix I don't know how you live you can buy it/rent "Call the Midwife" from Amazon. I highly recommend it!

Emergency Preparedness

Earlier today I was snuggled deep under my blankets looking at the weather reports, contemplating whether or not I really think a hurricane can actually effect a town 5 hours inland. For a few minutes I started to plan what I would do when this idea of a hurricane dumps several inches of snow on my home in the mountains.
I planned what comfort foods I could eat, what sweatshirt I would wear, and most importantly, what I would watch on Netflix to keep me entertained.*
It all sounded so lovely- a fire in the fireplace, Netflix, blankets, hot chocolate.
It really was going to be a nice couple of days.
And then I remembered I work from home. I freelance. I don't get snow days.
And then the weather models changed. No more freak storm headed at us. Just some rain and a 40 degree temperature drop. (not cool!)
I'm a little disappointed.
So long, Hurricane Sandy. We hardly knew ye.

*I had decided it is finally time to sit down and get involved with "Doctor Who." I'm a nerd girl to the core. I just haven't had the time yet to watch it. But I fully expect to become a huge fan when I do finally get past the first episode. I've been waiting for a good stomach flu or appendicitis or something to give me the time needed to invest in the series.

Downton Abbey

Like pretty much all of the women I know, I am a huge Downton Abbey fan.
Huge.
So huge in fact, that it was killing me, KILLING ME I SAY, to know that Season 3 is playing in the U.K., but they are making Americans wait till January or some nonsense like that. So I got it into my head to see if there was some way to find the episodes online.
And I did.
But they aren't entirely legal. And yet, I'm not entirely sure that they are illegal either. The site I found them on seems incredibly legit.
Normally I am very, very opposed to illegal downloads. When your personal livelihood depends upon royalties, you can get rather passionate about illegal downloads and copyright infringement.
But this time justification was not hard to come by. I know full well that even though I'm watching it in a slightly questionable gray area right now, I will still watch it again when it airs in the States, and I will likely even buy and download it as well. (I've even pre-ordered Season 3 on Amazon.) Yes, the dues will be paid to those who deserve them.
And so I justify it and don't feel guilty about it. At all.
There's just one huge drawback. No one else is watching it with me! I have no one to swoon over Mary's wedding dress with, and all of the twists and turns going on this season. (And you thought last season had drama!!)
So who out there is with me on the Downton Addiction? Any other Abbey Lovers?
And if you are not yet a Downton Abbey fan, you can get a free Amazon Prime account right now, and download it on Amazon instant for free! (Or watch it on Hulu or Netflix!)

a new TV season is upon us

A new TV season is upon us! So let's get talking! What shows are you watching and what won't you be watching?

Here's my 2 cents thus far-

Once Upon a Time - So far there has only been a pilot episode, but I'm hooked. I read somewhere that the writers for this show came from "LOST" and I'm not surprised. It definitely has that LOST feeling to it. It also kind of reminds me of "Eureka" in that "small town no one notices where really strange things happen" sort of way. It stars Jennifer Morrison (Cameron from "House") and Ginnifer Goodwin ("Big Love" and "He's Just Not That Into You") who I've always enjoyed before. Also, Josh Dallas looks just the way you want your Prince Charming to look. I'm looking forward to seeing if this show will keep me hooked. So far it looks like a good family friendly and yet intriguing show.

Pan Am- I can't decide if I love or hate this show yet. But I've watched every episode, so I must like it a little bit. The premise is fun and quirky, and their portrayal of the sexist 60s is amusing. Its an ensemble cast, with the biggest name being Christina Ricci. However, her character isn't my favorite. So far Michael Mosley is stealing the show for me. He plays the guy who doesn't get why nobody likes him. But of all the characters I think his storyline has the most potential.

New Girl - Honestly, I will be surprised if this show is a hit. Zooey Deschanel is cute and quirky, but if they can't get the writing and dialogue out of slapstick mode, its not going to go anywhere. I don't think their multiple week hiatus is going to help them either. I like the show, but I won't be surprised if it is canceled mid-season.

I'm still watching my other returning favorites- NCIS, Parenthood, Castle, House, the Good Wife, Modern Family, and Grey's Anatomy. I till sthink the Good Wife is one of the best shows out there. It has moved to the 10pm hour on Sunday nights, which I think is a great place for it. Its definitely not family friendly fare, and very adult. And with the twists they have thrown in this season it is even more adult. But I LOVE it. All of my returning favorites are amazing shows. I can't understand why anyone wouldn't be watching all of them! NCIS is in its 8th season and yet hasn't lost steam or interesting plots. Parenthood is actually believable and lovable at the same time. Castle is my Tuesday morning vice. I watch it almost immediately on Hulu first thing on Tuesday mornings. (Last night's "I'm not afraid of no ghosts" line was hysterical! And I love their pop culture references, especially last night's "Poltergeist" joke.) "House" didn't jump the shark surprisingly with the whole jail scenario. Nothing is funnier than Modern Family- nothing! And Grey's, which almost lost me last year, is suddenly awesome again. ("Bones" is another favorite of mine, but considering they are about to write in a new baby plus a pregnancy, plus lose a cast member, I'm really wondering how well this season will go.)

And yes, I'm really, really late to the party on this one, but I've just started watching Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother in syndicated reruns. (I'm really not much of a sitcom fan.) Everyone else already knows these are fun shows, so there's not much for me to say.

For the first time ever I'm watching reality shows. Mostly because I'm home all day long with nothing better to do. I'm watching "Millionaire Matchmaker," "Hoarders," "19 Kids and Counting," "Sister Wives," and stupid wedding shows. Nothing really to recommend or talk about.

What shows are you watching? And what shows will you not be watching?

Book and TV suggestions?

I love a good, addicting, enthralling, book series or TV series. And right now, I am completely out of them. I've reread some old favorites recently (Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Anne of Green Gables, most of Jane Austen's works, and a few others), and I need some more ideas! Same with TV series! I love serial TV that can be watched on iTunes or Netflix. Does anyone have any good recommendations for an old series that is just too good to forget? (For instance, Lost, Eureka, Battlestar Galactica, Alias, Northern Exposure, the Good Wife, etc. The kind that make you want to keep watching a whole season in one sitting!) I'm open to suggestions!

Golden Globe Predictions

The Golden Globes are tomorrow night. And I'm looking forward to seeing some of my favorite shows get some awards! Here are the nominees, with my choice for winners in bold. There are a few categories where I just can't vote because I haven't seen any of the nominees.
Also, I'd like to add my name to the list of protesters about True Grit getting shut out of the nominations. I'm sorry, but Emma Stone for Easy A? And not Hailee for True Grit? Seriously? Emma Stone sucked, as did the movie! That's just wrong on too many levels!

Best TV Series (comedy or musical)
30 Rock
Big Bang Theory
Big C
Glee
Modern Family
Nurse Jackie
My vote goes to Modern Family just because everything about that show is perfect- the cast, the stories, the set, etc. All of it. Who do I think it will go to? Glee or Big C. Why? The cable shows always do better, and Big C attracts a more adult, mature audience. And Glee just because Hollywood types (those who actually vote on this stuff) love how Glee tackles political, social issues.

Best Television Series -- Drama
Boardwalk Empire
Dexter
The Good Wife
Mad Men
Walking Dead
Didn't I just say yesterday how I love the Good Wife? I think Mad Men has run its course in the awards, and I've never seen the other shows.

Best Motion Picture -- Comedy or Musical
Alice in Wonderland
Burlesque
The Kids Are All Right
Red
The Tourist
I've only see Alice, and none of the others. And I really don't think Alice was that great. So I won't be voting here.

Best Motion Picture -- Drama
Black Swan
The Fighter
Inception
The King's Speech
The Social Network
I have only seen Inception and the Social Network. I thought the Social Network was great, but it wasn't the best movie this year. It was just a really interesting story about something everyone is a part of. However, Inception blew me away. Personally, I'm rooting for an Inception sweep! Do I think it will happen? I don't know.

Best Screenplay -- Motion Picture
Simon Beaufoy and Danny Boyle -- 127 Hours
Christopher Nolan -- Inception
Stuart Blumberg and Lisa Cholodenko -- The Kids Are All Right
David Seidler -- The King's Speech
Aaron Sorkin -- The Social Network
Having not seen 3 of the 5 movies, I can't really say much. But again, there has never been anything like Inception before, so I'm going with Inception.

Best Director -- Motion Picture
Darren Aronofsky -- Black Swan
David Fincher -- The Social Network
Tom Hooper -- The King's Speech
Christopher Nolan -- Inception
David O. Russell -- The Fighter
Surprised? I think the Social Network had potential to be the worst movie this year. But it was the direction of it all that made it work. So I'm going with Social Network. But I'm hoping Inception gets it. See the above reasons for why.

Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture
Christian Bale -- The Fighter
Michael Douglas -- Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps
Andrew Garfield -- The Social Network
Jeremy Renner -- The Town
Geoffrey Rush -- The King's Speech
I'm going with the only one where I can remember the guy. Did I think he was that great? Meh. So I'm ready to be wrong.

Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture
Amy Adams -- The Fighter
Helena Bonham Carter -- The King's Speech
Mila Kunis -- Black Swan
Melissa Leo -- The Fighter
Jacki Weaver -- Animal Kingdom
Never saw any of them. Don't plan to either. I think Cary Mulligan should be here for her role in Wall St though!

Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture -- Comedy or Musical
Johnny Depp -- Alice in Wonderland
Johnny Depp -- The Tourist
Paul Giamatti -- Barney's Version
Jake Gyllenhaal -- Love and Other Drugs
Kevin Spacey -- Casino Jack
Again, I'm going with the only movie I have seen. But Johnny Depp was pretty good in Alice. The Tourist is showing here in town still. Maybe I'll go see it today.

Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture -- Comedy or Musical
Annette Bening -- The Kids Are All Right
Anne Hathaway -- Love and Other Drugs
Angelina Jolie -- The Tourist
Julianne Moore -- The Kids Are All Right
Emma Stone -- Easy A
I think it will go to anyone but Emma Stone. I think it will be split between Annette Bening and Julianne Moore, and go to Angelina Jolie instead.

Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture -- Drama
Jesse Eisenberg -- The Social Network
Colin Firth -- The King's Speech
James Franco -- 127 Hours
Ryan Gosling -- Blue Valentine
Mark Wahlberg -- The Fighter
Maybe I haven't seen Colin Firth in this movie, but I will always vote for him anyway. If for no other reason than I just want to see him on stage.

Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture -- Drama
Halle Berry -- Frankie and Alice
Nicole Kidman -- Rabbit Hole
Jennifer Lawrence -- Winter's Bone
Natalie Portman -- Black Swan
Michelle Williams -- Blue Valentine
Not only have I not seen any of these movies, I've only heard of one of them. I have no vote.

Best Actor in a TV Series- Drama
Steve Buscemi- Boardwalk Empire
Bryan Cranston- Breaking Bad
Michael C Hall- Dexter
Jon Hamm- Mad Men
Hugh Laurie- House
I once read somewhere that Hugh Laurie deserves all awards always. Why? Because he's speaking English with an American accent (he's a Brit), walking believably with a cane, spouting some difficult medical jargon, and playing a fabulous character. He works three times harder than all other actors. So I'm tempted to go with him. But I think House has run its course. But I haven't seen 3 of the 5 shows, and I don't think Jon Hamm deserves it this season. So I'm going with House.

Best Actress in a TV Series- Drama
Julianna Margulies- the Good Wife
Elisabeth Moss- Man Men
Piper Perabo- Covert Affairs
Katey Sagal- Sons of Anarchy
Kyra Sedgwick- the Closer
Have I made my Good Wife feelings known yet? Also, Julianna Margulies is what makes the show. She deserves it!

Best Actor in a Television Series, Comedy or Musical
Alec Baldwin- 30 Rock
Steve Carell- the Office
Thomas Jane- Hung
Matthew Morrison- Glee
Jim Parsons- Big Bang Theory
That is like trying to pick a favorite child. I'm throwing a dart and going with Alec Baldwin.

Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television
Hope Davis- Special Relationship,
Jane Lynch- Glee
Kelly McDonald- Boardwalk Empire
Julia Stiles- Dexter
Sofia Vergara- Modern Family
Another very tough one. But I don't know how anyone is more believable than Jane Lynch. But I do love Sofia Vergara!

Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television
Scott Caan- Hawaii 5-0
Chris Noth- the Good Wife
David Straitharn- Temple Grandin
Eric Stonestreet- Modern Family
Chris Colfer- Glee
Quite frankly, I think this is a toss up as well. But I'd like to see anyone but Chris Colfer win. I love the show, and I like his character. But really? His acting? Anyone could pull that off. And while Chris Noth wouldn't be my first choice for getting an award for the Good Wife (I'd give it to Josh Charles, because I love him), I want the Good Wife to sweep!

Best Actress in a Television Series, Comedy or Musical
Toni Collette- United States of Tara
Edie Falco- Nurse Jackie
Tina Fey- 30 Rock
Laura Linney- the Big C
Lea Michelle- Glee
I'm going with Laura Linney. Lea Michelle can sing, but she can't act for TV. Tina Fey has been there, done that. Edie Falco is edgy, but I don't care. And Toni Collette is playing an annoying character on an annoying show. I've only seen one episode of the Big C. And what I remember was that Laura Linney was incredible.

TV Talk

Let's talk TV!
I actually don't have a TV in my house. I watch all my shows online (CBS.com or Hulu- why won't CBS just put their shows on Hulu?!?!), or on my sister's DVR. So I'm a little out of the loop on new shows coming in. I can't remember the last time I watched a commercial (hallelujah!).
So what shows do you like? What are you enjoying this season?
I always love the mid-season introductions. I seem to find all my favorite shows at mid-season replacements!
That being said!
Shows I'm loving, new and old!

The Good Wife- It can be gritty, and is definitely TV14, but I love it. I love the tension between Alicia, Will, and Peter. I love Kalinda, Carey, all of them. Hands down the best casted show on television.

Royal Pains- it comes back in a few more weeks. I can't wait. I will rate this one a G+. Kids wouldn't enjoy it or get it. But it is clean, and yet still intriguing!

Castle- this show keeps getting better and better. Again, a TV14, as all good police detective shows should be. I love Castle so much that I got "Heat Wave" on my Nook this week. And I'm loving it too. I really hope they "publish" his next "book" too.

Off the Map- I'm hooked on just the pilot alone. Of course, this show would totally appeal to a Peace Corps applicant who can't wait to go live off the map herself! Also, LOVE the casting so far (main doctor was in Bride and Prejudice, and one of the baby docs was awesome in guest spots on the Good Wife). HAWT! Inevitably headed for a TV14 rating.

Modern Family- if you aren't watching this show yet, you need to be! I LOVE IT. My parents love it. My sister loves it. There isn't a week that goes by that I don't laugh till it hurts when watching this show!!

The Cape- based on just the pilot, I liked it. But then, it has everything I love about a show. It's campy, fantasy, heart, and has Summer Glau. Really, the only thing missing from this show, (and it shows) is Joss Whedon. Seriously, if he joined up on this show, it would be the best show ever.

Grey's Anatomy- surprisingly, I'm falling back in love with this show. Shows this old tend to get stale after awhile. But this one just seems to be getting better. (Loved the (totally predictable) twist this week.)

NCIS- I will forever and always love Tony, Ziva, Abs, McGee, Ducky, Jimmy, and Gibbs. And sometimes I like Vance. Again, a show that only gets better with time!

V

Nothing in this world has scared me like the mini-series and TV show "V" did when I was a little girl. I can still vividly remember watching the aliens pull their skin off to reveal their lizardness, and how it made my own skin crawl.
I remember watching the green circle growing around the pregnant woman's neck, marking the length of her pregnancy. I was terrified about what would happen when the circle was complete. Just thinking about it now makes me shudder.
And the only recurring nightmare I have ever had in my life involves people eating hamsters and mice, and then watching an alien baby crawl out of its mother's stomach.

AAAAGH! NIGHTMARE CITY!

And as you may have noticed I'm rather obsessed with all things 80s.

And Morena Baccarin, who ROCKED in Firefly/Serenity is the star of the new remake.  (I totally have a girl crush on her, and I wish I could rock her hairstyle the way she does.)

So you can probably guess what my DVR is set for on Tuesday night! I can't think of a better show for a remake and update. I'm hoping I love this one as much as 8 year old me loathed the old one.

But what I really want to know is what old 80s show you think should be remade or brought back??

Secret Millionaires

Tomorrow night on Fox there is a new show debuting called, "Secret Millionaires." Along with a few of my friends, I am eagerly going to be watching. One of the "secret millionaires" is an acquaintance of mine. I'm not in the mood to share which one right now, because I'm tired of my blog being found in google alert searches.
Surprised I know a multi-millionaire? Well, like I said, he's just an acquaintance. He was the owner of the company that my old employer shared office space with. I doubt he recalls my name, or remembers me. But I was around during the time he took off to go do his undercover work. And I heard him talk a little bit about his experiences. I was even in the office the day the camera crews came around to interview him, and get some footage of our office space. So I'm interested to see how this all plays out. He's in practically none of the promos for the show online. But his profile is on the site, and I have seen him in one of the TV spots for it now. So I'm going to watch. If you do too, I'd be interested in having a discussion about it. If there's anything to discuss that is.
Also, I think this is actually slightly redeeming reality TV. At least its reality TV trying to do something good for a change. And for that reason alone, I'll support it.

Pushing Daisies, How I Love and Hate Thee

Like many other people this season I have fallen in love with the show, Pushing Daisies. After all, what isn't too love? Cute pie maker that brings people back from the dead? Chi McBride as a selfish detective using the pie maker to solve mysteries? Quirky females both in love with the truly adorable and delicious pie maker? How can you not love this show? (One of the better lines, "Our saliva isn't compatible." How can you not laugh?!)
But there's something bugging me to no end here. THE MORMON REFERENCES HAVE GOT TO GO! For those not watching the show, let me explain. In one episode the bad guys' names were Lemuel and Wilfrid Woodruff. For non-Mormons reading along, I shall explain. Lemuel is a name right out of the Book of Mormon. WilfOrd Woodruff was a prophet in our church. And then tonight the episode was about a polygamist. The actual show never said Mormon, but there was one wife who didn't drink coffee. But an online description of tonight's episode did say Mormon polygamist.
I have heard from a few sources that the show's creator is Bryan Fuller. Mr. Fuller is one of the few truly open gay creator/producers (according to Wiki). He's also been a part of other openly anti-Mormon episodes, comments, etc.
Well, I'm tired of it. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled to see Mormons being included in mainstream media (i.e. House, MD). But I'm tired of us only being portrayed negatively. Or so campy or stupid. I'm thrilled that House, MD at least has a smart character.
Anyone else noticing the continuing negative slant? If Jews, or Catholics, or Baptists were so openly mocked without any other positive references out there, it would never last. Yes, other religions are mocked, but for every mockery, there are plenty of other accurate representations. So where is the accurate Mormon representation? I'm waiting for it!!

New Fall TV Shows

I admittedly love the beginning of the Fall TV season. Part of it is just my TV junkie side, part of it my college education (broadcast journalism, media communication, and history of movies and entertainment courses). I love not just watching TV shows for their entertainment value, but also following the ratings, network lineups, critics and commercial value. This fall has not disappointed with interesting new story line, commercial values and lineups.
No one is going to bother reading everything I could possibly say on the subject. So I'll just give a few short wrap ups on some of my new favorite shows.

Gossip Girl -on the CW network. It's a little too "OC." But if you like watching high drama tv shows about spoiled rich kids in really expensive clothes, it may not disappoint. I give it a 2.9 out of 5.

Pushing Daisies - I read about this show in a few different magazines before actually catching the pilot. All the critics promised something new, unique and colorful, and they were right. The premise is a shy, quiet, pie maker (Hello, he calls his store the Pie Hole, and for that, you should love this show.) who has the ability to raise the dead- but only as long as he only touches them once. When he touches the newly undead twice, they go back to being dead. If the undead stays alive for more than a minute, someone else dies. While this sounds like it would/could be a gruesome show, instead they do it in a fun, colorful and unique voice. The show has so much potential that you can just feel yourself holding your breath hoping they didn't use up all their creativity on the first show. If this show stays as clever as the pilot was it has potential for being one of the most unique shows ever on television. WATCH IT!!! 5 out of 5.

Dirty Sexy Money- Don't be turned off (or on) by the name. This is another show with a unique premise. A lawyer for a rich family. Nothing interesting except that the lawyer thinks a family member murdered his father. And the whole show is mocking the rich family, which is more or less loosely based on the Hiltons, Bushes, and the Kennedys. It has potential, if it doesn't turn too dark. 4 out of 5.

Private Practice- the Grey's Anatomy spinoff. I don't know. It's just a little too much like Grey's so far. But the reviews promise that this will be lighter and funnier. If that is true, than I'll keep watching. But as for now I'm only giving it 2 more episodes before I stop watching. I'll give it credit for making me cry more in the last 10 minutes of the pilot than I have ever cried at a TV show. 3 out 5.

Cane- The Cuban Floridian family drama about a sugar cane dynasty. It has more plot lines in just 2 episodes than any other show I've ever seen. The acting and scenery is beautiful. Jimmy Smits is going to be legendary for the role. But it has the potential for being too much of a soap opera for my taste. Nonetheless, 5 out of 5.

Chuck- I love this show. An action comedy on TV!! I am so happy! This show is so fun and cute already. The premise is a computer nerd who unwittingly sees/learns all of the government secrets. It's sort of James Bond meets Revenge of the Nerds meets Clueless.

Shows that are not new-
Grey's Anatomy- I keep watching it in spite of myself. I like the new Lexie character. It's like they know they've got too many freaks and brought in a normal person to balance it out. If I could quit the habit I would. 2.9 out of 5.

House- I was unsure about them losing the supporting cast. But I'm already loving the new possible supporting cast. Especially the possibility of a regular Mormon character. Not just because I love seeing the Mormon church in the mainstream, or because I love the way the character is written and played so far. But mostly because I think a Mormon vs. House set up promises for some great story lines. 5 out of 5

The Office-
still one of the best shows ever. I love Pam and Jim. And Ryan. I just wish they would focus less on Michael. Especially as my real life begins to resemble the Office more and more each day. Sooner or later, something is going to show up in jello.

Heroes- also still one of the best superhero shows ever. I can't wait for Kristen Bell to show up! (I want her to kick butt on this show just to stick it to the stupid CW for canceling Veronica Mars.)

Bones- The House/Bones combo on Tuesday nights makes me very very happy.

I admit I watch a few more shows than this (let's hear it for Tivo!), but on the grounds that it makes me look really stupid (we all knew i have no life), I won't be sharing how many shows I manage to watch in a week. Especially since there's a few more shows I still need to catch- Bionic Woman, Life, and Reaper.

Working Girl

Recently, I've been picking up work as a background extra on various projects. In the past month or so I've worked on 3 different m...
