My Single Thought column is up on the new and improved Meridian Magazine today. I've issued the $30 Date Challenge to all of those who are burned out and tired of dating. And I commit to taking the challenge myself. If you know me, you know I've had nothing but really awful experiences when it comes to asking guys out. This would normally be a next to traumatic event to have to do this. But that is the whole point of the challenge- to eliminate the trauma from dating! I'm looking forward to some responses and acceptances!

ReplyDeleteDo you only date LDS guys?
ReplyDeleteGreat idea!
ReplyDeleteI have a guy that I go out with all the time for less than $30. We have fun, but it isn't going anywhere. I guess in some ways he keeps me upbeat about dating. Just don't start thinking that the men you ask out are going to be potential mates. That is rare. If they were interested, they would be asking you out.
ReplyDeleteI planned out a date had it priced under 10$; Mongolia is a cheaper place to live in alot of ways. She said no; so No date for under 30$. FAIL, again! Why do I do this? Why do I keep putting myself through the ringer? How am I not bitter, especially since my last real date was HS prom circa 1990?
